Education Training & Development Advisory Board
The Education, Training & Development Advisory Board was established in 2005 to oversee the NTEU national education and training program. The eleven members of the Board were selected on the basis of their professional training/education expertise as well as their union experience.
The main role of this Board is to monitor and provide advice on the Union’s training program, including advising on curriculum, methods of delivery and quality issues. This includes periodic reviews of the program to ensure it remains relevant, rigorous, high quality and maintains the principles of intellectual freedom.
