NTEU members' resolution

Posted 15 April 2011 by Gia Underwood (Vic Division)

A union meeting was held today, Friday the 15th April, of NTEU members at the CAE to discuss the proposed major change at the CAE.

As most of the staff attending the meeting had not actually received any information about the proposal and were concerned about the short time frame proposed by Denise O'Brien, the CEO of the Centre for Adult Education for consultation a resolution was passed unanimously and has been sent to the CEO.

The 'proposal' has been released mid term break, pre-Easter and Anzac day with the intention to commence redundancies and redeployments the week after the long public holiday break.
