NTEU Rule Changes

Fair Work Australia has approved our changes to the NTEU Rules, which were adopted at the National Council meeting in 2011.

The most significant changes consolidate the structure of the Northern Territory Division, which will now incorporate both the Charles Darwin University and Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education Branches, and provide some improvements in the structure and nomenclature of Indigenous positions.

Divisions should be aware of the effect of rule 27A.2, which will in a few cases change the composition of your Division Council forthwith.

For a detailed understanding of the effect of those changes, Branches and Divisions should refer to the 2011 National Council papers.
