Professor Bronwyn Fredericks has been appointed as the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Engagement) at CQUniversity. She commenced in the position on the 12 March.
Bronwyn has been a long term member of the NTEU and has held a range of roles over the past 17 years, including National Council Member, Member of the Indigenous Policy Committee and Member of the National Research Committee.
She has also been a keynote speaker at NTEU events such as the NTEU’s National Women’s Conference.
Professor Fredericks’ most recent positions have included senior research roles at both Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and Monash University. This new role witnesses a move back to CQUniversity where Bronwyn completed her PhD in 2003 and where she worked with many of the communities that she will be working with again.
The NTEU wishes Professor Fredericks much success in her new position as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Engagement).
