Indicator Framework for Higher Education Performance Funding submission - 5 Feb 2010
NTEU submission to DEEWR's An Indicator Framework for Higher Education Performance Funding.
In this submission NTEU strongly recommended that distribution of performance funding against specific performance targets should not commence until at least 2013. In the interim performance funding should be distributed to universities based on their share of Commonwealth supported student load.
The Union emphasised in its submission that the primary principles should ensure that performance indicators respected and maintained institutional autonomy and did not result in a lessening of institutional diversity in the sector.
