Film night fundraiser - 'The Artist'

Posted 23 January 2012 by Jane Maze (ACT Division)

The International Women's Development Agency will present a special fundraiser screening of 'The Artist' in Canberra on Monday 13th February (and also in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.)

The Artist is a "delightfully inventive comedy" (TIME) that recently won three Golden Globes including Best Picture. The Daily Mail said: "The Artist is — and I don't write these words more than once every decade — a work of genius: witty, sophisticated and blessedly original."

The screening will be at 6.30 pm at Manuka Cinemas.

All proceeds from the film night will go to support IWDA and the work of its partners in creating change for women in Asia and the Pacific. Tickets are $25 (and include chocolate).

Bring some friends and make it a night out to support gender equality!

Visit the IWDA website for more details, or book your tickets online, at http://ow.ly/8CpIl . You can also book by phone at 03 9650 5574.
