NTEU National President Jeannie Rea features in a discussion which will explore looking towards a sustainable future for our Knowledge "Industry". The talk will focus on the current issues around the ERA, Intellectual Freedom and the Base Funding review. Jeannie Rea commenced as the National President of the National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) on 1 October 2010. She came to the position from being the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Education and Human Development at Victoria University in Melbourne. Prior to this she was the Head of School of Communication and the Arts. She teaches and researches in gender studies, public relations, public advocacy and social change.
