Log of Claims for Collective Bargaining 2008
The NTEU bargaining team will soon be negotiating a new Collective Agreement about improvements to pay and conditions at UC.
A well-attended NTEU General Meeting on 7 May endorsed the Log of Claims for bargaining. You can download the final Log of Claims here.
The claim was presented to University management on 15 May and NTEU expects bargaining to begin shortly. The Union's bargaining team will include Dale Kleeman, NTEU UC Branch Treasurer, Branch Committee member Michael de Percy and Industrial Officer Vivienne Bryant.
The Log includes important claims for casual and sessional academics and fixed-term research staff. The bargaining team wants to stay in good communication with members in these groups throughout bargaining to ensure the negotiations accurately reflect their interests.
