Andrew Bonnell with Life Member Dr Jim McAllister and Margaret Lee

At Rockhampton on 25 October 2007 the NTEU State President, Andrew Bonnell, provided a thoughful consideration about macro changes affecting the higher education sector and what this means in particular for CQU. Dr Bonnell is a lecturer in German and European history at UQ.

At this event Dr Jim McAllister was conferred lifetime membership of the NTEU after decades of generous service and resolute activism.

Bringing Dr Bonnell to CQU was also an opportunity to have a BBQ for all the successful voluntary separation applicants. Margaret Lee, the Division Secretary, was also in attendance.
