CQU Research Network

If you are interested in learning more about the activities of the CQU Research Staff Network, please contact either the CQU Branch Organiser (9282) or Associate Professor Errol Vieth (9501). Members of particular research centres may also contact the following individuals: Centre for Plant and Water Science Associate Professor Nanjappa Ashwath (9595), Centre for Environmental Management Dr Jill Windle (9089),  Process Engineering & Light Metals Centre Mr Michael Turnbull (7371).

The network is open and inclusive of all CQU staff but we would especially encourage research intensive staff on fixed-term and casual contracts, as well as continuous academic staff members with an interest in employment conditions regarding research and scholarship. The network especially extends an invitation to non-union members of the CQU community who wish to have a stake in producing positive change on campus, and who wish to empower themselves through an open and democratic engagement with the industrial issues that affect the university's research environment.
