Stamp out workload overload
Workloads for academic and general staff will be the number one issue in 2009 given budgetary pressures. The CQU branch committee believes that senior management have adopted the attitude that staff are underworked, and therefore they are simply not listening to problems associated with workloads. We need to change this. Your Staff Consultative Committee representatives would like to push this model at the next SCC meeting, but we need your feedback first. Although the workload model relates to academics, we believe a similar model could be developed for general staff. We would love to hear your thoughts (nteu-cqu@qld.nteu.org.au). Help us stamp out workload overload.
