Hot Issue- Ban on Cooperating with Performance Management Lifted
The Branch elected officials today (Thu 21st Jan) voted to lift the performance management ban. One of the concessions made by CSU management just before Christmas was that our proposal to remove the rankings from the new scheme (in the old scheme they were exceeds/meets/fails to meet expectations) is contingently accepted. We are lifting the ban in recognition of this advance.
We will advise management of the lifting of this ban today. Members can be assured that like the other viable industrial actions we have available to us, we can re-apply this ban if we believe it is needed. A members meeting will be called to take this action if necessary. Such industrial action is available to us until the conclusion of bargaining.

There is no Industrial Action in force at Charles Sturt University as of 21st January 2010
