In order to promote discussion of issues of interest to staff of CSU the Inlander newsletter will be published three times a year.

Matters of a more specific focus or requiring more immediate dissemination of information Monthly e-bulletins will be distributed.

Content

·         Featured articles – contextual/process matters

·         President’s comment

·         Opinion piece

·         Member profile

·         National/State bodies items

·         Global issues

·         Events, awards, prizes

Contributions

Contributions can be made in one of four categories:

·         Submitted feature articles

·         Submitted opinion pieces

·         Letters to the editor

·         CSU Branch Blog/forum

Editorial guidelines

The Editorial committee recognise the value in seeking contributions that demonstrate a diversity of opinion on issues concerning CSU Staff with a view to framing and encouraging member debate and awareness. Therefore the decision to publish submitted materials will be based on:

·         Observance of laws concerning privacy and defamation

·         Evidence based or verifiable assertions

·         Benefit to members
