Enterprise Bargaining Round 4
After After many months of hard work, your NTEU Enterprise Bargaining Representatives are proud to recommend to you the new Macquarie University Enterprise Agreement.
National Tertiary Education Union members voted on this agreement at our meeting last week. We encourage all staff to view the agreement and vote for it at a staff meeting.
The agreement provides for a 19% pay rise, a $750 bonus for full-time staff (paid pro-rata to part-timers and casuals) and improvements to General Staff classification, 26 weeks paid parental leave, Academic promotion appeals, regulation of casual employment and improvements to casuals employment conditions, and many other improvements.
We encourage you to contact us and ask us questions about your new Enterprise Agreement, and you can contact us by emailing nteu@mq.edu.au .
Finally, your colleagues who are NTEU members made this pay rise and new Enterprise Agreement happen.
