Welcome from the President

Welcome to the NSW website! We will work to make this web resource useful and a tool for integration of the NSW Division.

In many ways the NTEU is a unique union with its particular mix of people: employed staff, members and elected officials; Academic and General staff; Branch locations, regional and metro; Branch, Division and National offices and staff. This complexity in time and place is both a challenge and an advantage.

One of the key concerns for a complex and disparate organisation is communication. This website offers the chance to add depth and wider access to our range of communications so that we can create an interleaved and responsive resource to aid communications. We will be trying to maximise the usefulness of the website so as to build on the communications we already undertake, and those we undertake in the future.

Let us know how we can improve the website and related communication activities we undertake. In the end we do all this work and communication for the people of the NTEU at every level and place. We want to make it count and have fun in the process (see my photo)!
