Unions and Dissent

In November 2006 the NTEU sponsored a seminar, "Heads above the Parapet", about the increasing attacks on public discourse and dissent in Australia. This paper entitled "Unions and Dissent" was presented by Howard Guille, from Humanities and Social Sciences at QUT, and former State Secretary of NTEU.

December 2005. The forum was initiated by the Crux committee of the NTEU branch at QUT, and
supported by QUT Oodgeroo Unit, QUT Law faculty, and Just Rights Qld

Energy Forum
|
A forum on "Future Energy - Where Can we Go from Here?" was organised by the
Research sub-committee of the UQ Branch in September 2005.
The forum featured speakers from a wide range of background specialisations covering most types of
energy production. Included were some leading researchers in alternative energy at UQ.
