NTEU Life Members
- Vern Deeker was Branch Secretary at the Swinburne Branch for several years. In recognition of his exceptional service to the Swinburne membership, the Branch nominated him for Life Membership of the NTEU. Vern left Swinburne in the late nineties.
- Past Branch President, Geoff Leonard, was nominated for NTEU life membership in 2006. Amongst his many achievements, Geoff was an NTEU National Councillor and a participant in Swinburne enterprise bargaining. Geoff retired from Swinburne in January 2006.
