Casual Staff
The NTEU is campaigning at every university for significant improvements in pay and better job security for casual staff. Our casuals website www.unicasual.com.au has information about your rights as a casual staff member and a special publication Smart Casuals which you can download.The UNE Branch has started to negotiate a new Collective Agreement for all staff which includes significant improvements to the employment conditions of casual staff. All our members contribute in some way to the collective bargaining process, so, if you are not already a member of NTEU, we invite you to join with us to get a better deal for casual staff. The NTEU casual fee is $55.00.
