Occupational Stress and Workloads

NTEU has been involved in a number of studies exploring the increase in workloads and stress experienced by university staff over the past decade, and we are using this research primarily to

  • add weight to our lobbying for increased public funds and improved student:staff ratios;
  • assist Branches and Divisions in developing appropriate policy and industrial strategies regarding workplace and stress at an institutional level; and
  • inform national and local campaigns around these issues.
