Wollongong Campaign Launch
The Wollongong NTEU Branch launched the 'Our Universities Matter' campaign by hosting a public forum at 12:30pm Tuesday 5 August in the UniBar. The forum was titled 'Our Universities Matter - Why Regional Communities Need Strong Universities'.
The speakers at the well attended forum chaired by Branch President, Kim Draisma were:
- Dr Carolyn Allport, NTEU National President
- Professor Gerard Sutton, Vice-Chancellor University of Wollongong
- Patrick Kennedy Bates, WUSA Education and Campaigns Coordinator
