Get involved - help the Union with collective bargaining
Successful collective bargaining requires collective action. There
are a number of ways that you can be involved and help with
collective bargaining at UTS in 2009:
- keep updated with the Branch issues - check the website
regularly
- recruit your colleagues to the Union - the stronger the NTEU,
the stronger your bargaining position
- participate in members' meetings - have your say in the
negotiations
- participate in a specialist working group - academic
workloads; research-only; casuals; Indigenous; and more
