On behalf of the UTS Branch Executive and Delegates of the National Tertiary Education Union, I would like to welcome you to the UTS Branch web-site. You can access the latest information on relevant industrial matters pertaining to your rights at work in the Higher Educaiton Sector through the National Office site. If you are not yet a member I invite you to join the union that understands the issues you may confront as an employee at the University of Technology, Sydney.
The Branch Executive and Delegates, under the leadership of the President, Patrick Tooth and the guidance of the NSW Division Industrial Officer, Jeane Wells are there for you. They have worked towards improving your conditions and salary through the Enterprise Bargaining process and subsequently to ensuring that these conditions certified in the Enterprise Agreement are upheld in the workplace.
Please do not hesitate to talk to a Delegate in your workplace on joining the union or contact Anne at the Branch Office. I look forward to your support and meeting you at our General Meetings in the near future.
