Expected Outcomes
According to the terms of reference, the review is expected to provide advice and make recommendations on funding for Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) in relation to:
- The level of funding needed to provide internationally competitive education.
- Funding relativities between different discipline clusters on the basis of the costs of delivery.
- The student contributions for different disciplines which bears some relation to the private return from their education.
- A funding model that provides all institutions with a strong incentive to delivery high quality teaching and enrol more low SES students.
