NTEU Women: Locally, Nationally, Internationally

Posted 19 September 2011 by Amy Talbot (Murdoch University)

Women of the NTEU work in many ways to address the needs and concerns of women and girls not just in tertiary education, but across a spectrum of issues.

You are cordially invited to the first NTEU Murdoch Women’s gathering, to hear about some of the different projects and initiatives women in the union are currently involved with. Importantly, it is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other women who work at Murdoch.

The gathering is open to ALL women staff of Murdoch (non - members welcome). In solidarity we would also like to extend the invitation to all women who work at Notre Dame. Bring your own lunch, and if you have time, stay for coffee afterwards at the Law café.

Attached to this email is a poster that you may wish to print out and put up in your staff common areas. Feel free to invite your colleagues who may not yet be NTEU members.

Meeting details:

Thursday 22st September

Freehills Lecture Theatre

(Level 1 Economics, Commerce and Law Building)

12.30pm- 1.30pm
