NTEU staff and member survey on how the Union uses social media

Posted 24 July 2012 by Andrew Nette (NTEU National Office)

For some time now, the NTEU has been discussing how it can better harness the communication and campaign opportunities presented by social media in its work.

At a meeting of the NTEU National Executive earlier this year, it was decided the National Office would commence work on the development of a social media strategy for the Union.

As part of this, it was agreed that we would design a relatively quick survey to inform this work. This survey is now live and can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BNQLXX6

The survey has been sent to all NTEU staff and office bearers.

It will also be publicised to members and external NTEU supporters through the Union’s website and social media platforms on Twitter and Facebook.

The survey is a qualitative one designed to generate feedback to the National Office on the Union’s future use of social media. It will take around 15 minutes to complete and all responses will be anonymous.

Please consider doing the survey and publicising it to your members. It is open until August 20.
