Where and how members attend NTEU training
Training is generally provided on site although some programs may be run at the Division office if that is more convenient or appropriate.
Most members have an entitlement in their Enterprise Agreement to attend union training but you should check with your local Branch for specific details of the entitlement.
All NTEU training is authorised by TUTA Inc. and as such meets the requirements of union training provisions in most agreements. We will supply letters to attach to applications for union training leave but you must contact this office at least 2 weeks prior to attending training to arrange this.
Speak to your Committee members and/or Industrial Officer if you or your Branch is interested in and would benefit from an on-site training program.
