To become a member of NTEU and gain access to all the Union's resources and benefits, simply fill in the appropriate membership form and return it to your campus branch or to National Office, PO Box 1323, South Melbourne Vic 3205, or email us directly and we will send you the appropriate form.
Who can I discuss joining with?
If you are considering joining the NTEU but would like further information or to discuss the details with an NTEU contact at your workplace before deciding, send us an email with your contact details, and we'll arrange for a workplace delegate to get in touch. We also have an information kit for potential members which can be sent to you.

| National Membership Form | This is the main NTEU membership form offering the full range of payment options. |
| Casual Membership Form | This form should be used by casual members, those who are paid on an hourly basis,without a contract or a permanent position. |
| CAE join form | Use this form if you work in CAE in Victoria (including casual/sessional) |
| TAFE join form | Use this form if you work in TAFE in Victoria |
| Transfer of Membership | Use this form if you are a current NTEU member transferring to a new institution. |
| Change of details | Use this form if your personal or employment details have changed. |
| Associate Members Form | Associate membership of NTEU is only available to postgraduate students. |
| Transfer to Past Members Form | Past Members' Association is open only to members of NTEU who have retired or stopped working in the tertiary sector. |
| Unemployed Members Form | An unemployed member is categorised as a person qualified to be employed in, and seeking to be employed in, an occupation that would make that person eligible to be a member of the Union. |
