Reviews of PDF and Classification Structures at the University of Melbourne
Published: 21 Oct, 2010
As part of the University of Melbourne union collective agreement, the University and NTEU will review, negotiate and implement new academic and professional classification structures and performance management arrangements.
This review has the potential for significant changes for University staff. The NTEU University of Melbourne Branch has resolved to ensure that members are genuinely consulted during the Review about any proposals for new classification structures and performance management arrangements.
No changes can be implemented without agreement from both NTEU and University management; this means that an unacceptable system cannot be imposed on staff. However, any changes that are acceptable and agreed will completely replace the existing classifications and PDF.
