ACTU national competition for students
The Australian Council of Trade Unions’ Worksite for Schools website (www.worksite.actu.asn.au) is currently running a national competition for school, TAFE and RTO students – Investigating Wages and Working Conditions.
To enter, students must choose a job and write about the wages and working conditions that would apply for this job, as well as come up with creative ideas to improve these conditions.
There is $100 for the student winner, $25 for the three runners-up, and $25 for the winner of special effort.
