AUSTRALIAN UNIVERSITIES REVIEW: EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SOUGHT FOR EDITOR AND BOARD MEMBERS

Australian Universities Review (AUR) is seeking expressions of interest for:

EDITOR and five (5) BOARD MEMBERS

AUR is a refereed journal published twice a year by NTEU to encourage debate and discussion about issues in higher education and its contribution to Australian public life, with an emphasis on those issues of concern to NTEU members.

NTEU is keen to receive expressions of interest for the position of Editor of AUR. The Editor will be paid an honorarium of up to $30,000 annually, with an intended start date of January 2008.

NTEU is also keen to hear from people to fill five vacancies on the AUR Board. Prospective Board members must be NTEU members. Responsibilities of Board members include:

  • Attendance at two face to face Board meetings each year in Melbourne and participation in phone hook-ups and e-mail discussion as required.
  • Refereeing of articles for publication in AUR and other editorial duties.

Whilst encouraging applications from all disciplines, NTEU particularly encourages academics in the natural sciences to apply.
