National NTEU Indigenous Unit Visit to QUT Friday 18 March 2011

Posted 15 March 2011 by David Singh (Queensland University of Technology)

The NTEU’s National Indigenous Organiser, Adam Frogley, and National Indigenous Organiser, Celeste Liddle, will be visiting QUT this week.

Indigenous NTEU members at QUT are invited to meet with Adam and Celeste, as are members of the QUT Branch Committee and representatives from the Queensland NTEU Division Office. The gathering is also open to non-members who are Indigenous and to those with a concern for Indigenous education.

The meeting will take place this Friday 18 March 11.00-1.00pm, in B Block, Room B508, Gardens Point. An early light lunch will be served.

So, please encourage your colleagues to come along to hear and voice concerns about Indigenous participation and employment in Higher Education generally and at QUT in particular.

Please RSVP David Singh, QUT Branch Organiser.
