NTEU Smart Casuals Booklet for USQ

The NTEU booklet for sessional academics at USQ has been updated and a copy is available here http://issuu.com/nteu/docs/smart_casuals_usq.

It contains important information for sessional academics about their rights and entitlements at USQ. The USQ Branch will shortly have hard copies of the booklet to distribute, however you can also assist by passing this link on to sessionals in your area.

Employee Rights Lunchtime Information Sessions

Your branch will be holding information sessions at your campus soon, see the attached flyer. These will include information on your conditions in your Collective Agreement, Workloads, Academic Promotion, Professional Staff Classification and Workplace Health and Safety.

Respecting The Science

NTEU supports the Respect the Science campaign being run by Science and Technology Australia (STA), and congratulates STA on its success in bringing issues surrounding intellectual freedom and respect for the integrity of critical inquiry to the forefront.
