UTS Staff Forum: What's happening with Unisuper? 29/5
Dear members
In December 2011, university staff were alerted by media reports about a change to the Unisuper deed that may have a significant impact on our retirement outcomes.
More recently there have been reports in the media about the state of superannuation funds in our sector. The NTEU knows some of its members, retired members and others are concerned about retirement plans and income.
Because of this interest the NTEU branch at UTS is convening an all staff forum on Tuesday 29 May:
What’s happening with Unisuper?
And all UTS staff are invited to attend.
Where: Tower Building 1, Level 6, Room 12D (above the Great Hall)
Date: Tuesday 29 May 2012
Time: 12:30 – 2:00
--------------------------------
Guest Speakers:
• Grahame McCulloch - National Secretary, NTEU
• Rosalie de Gabriele - UTS staff representative, UniSuper Consultative Committee
• Representative from UTS to be confirmed
-----------------------------------
While the forum will not be providing advice about what to do in individual circumstances, it will give you some contextual information that will be vital for making informed personal decisions.
Please come along to this forum and bring your colleagues
