4 jobs axed - Change plan for UTS Indigenous Staff

The National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) has been supporting a number of long term Indigenous members who have been adversely impacted by a change plan that has been put in place at Jumbunna IHL, UTS.

4 jobs are being axed in the change process, and the careers of highly skilled and dedicated Indigenous officers stand to be cut short.

The UTS branch of the NTEU has lodged a dispute under the Indigenous Employment and Professional Development Clause (51) of the Support Staff Agreement 2010.

Take action by calling upon the Vice-Chancellor and Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor to reconsider these job cuts and retain Indigenous staff.
