NAIDOC Week

Posted 4 July 2011 by Celeste Liddle (Indigenous)

The Indigenous Unit would like to wish all NTEU members and staff a happy NAIDOC Week 2011!

Please take the time to join in the various events around the country. For local programme information please go to http://www.naidoc.org.au/local-naidoc-events-calendar/.

The National Indigenous Unit would also like to take this opportunity to invite all members and staff based in Melbourne to participate in the march on Friday morning at 10am starting at the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service on Nicholson street. Please drop Celeste a line on cliddle@nteu.org.au if you are interested.

[ 0 ] Help us to save the Nura Gili Resource Centre. It is going to be closed. We need NTEU on our side

[ +1 ] Long gone Jane - 1st full week in July, but some places extend to the following week. Never heard of any taking place in August. Some Uni's like UNSW do the Indigenous Week (but not sure when they do that one)
