University of South Australia Branch Committee passes motion of support for Musgrave Park Tent embassy

The National Indigenous Unit wishes to acknowledge the UniSA Branch Committee for the motion of support they passed for the Musgrave Tent Embassy and encourages other branches to do the same. UniSA motion as per below:

 MOTION:

The University of South Australia Branch of the NTEU condemns the violence and brutality ordered by the QLD Premier, Campbell Newman, and the Brisbane Lord Mayor, Graham Quirk, to forcibly remove people struggling for recognition of Indigenous sovereignty. Further, the committee sends its respect and support to all those involved at Musgrave Park Tent Embassy.
