Universitas21/Transnational Education
Welcome to the Universitas21/Transnational Education page. This page provides a source of information and ideas arising from the discussions within the higher education sector about the operations of Universitas21 and the potential involvement of public universities in transnational education activities.
NTEU, working with staff and student organisations at other U21 institutions and their peak national organizations, has established an email network for the purposes of exchanging information, ideas and action arising from these issues.
The agreement with Thomson Learning to establish U21Global was confirmed in August 2001. This site will incorporate the most up-to-date information about the activities of the U21 consortium and its negotiations with Thomson Learning for the establishment and operation of a virtual university.
