NTEU delivers your pay rise!

Posted 27 January 2011 by Adam Knobel (NSW Division)

2.5% January increase coming your way

The 2.5% pay increase in our pay packets on 27 January was negotiated by the NTEU as part of The University of Sydney Enterprise Agreement 2009 – 2012. Our Enterprise Agreement protects and covers staff entitlements and working conditions, including:  an 18.3% pay rise, annual leave, academic workloads, General Staff classifications, job security, hours of work, intellectual freedom, managing change and dispute settlement.

Join the union working for USYD staff

The Enterprise Agreement was won by the hard work of the NTEU and the collective support of all our members. As we prepare to negotiate with management again in 2012, we need to continue to increase Union visibility and strength on campus in order to defend and improve our workplace conditions.

Want to get involved?

NTEU Members across the University are assisting the Branch to protect and improve working conditions, and raise union membership and representation on campus. Contact the Branch if you can help by:

  • Putting up posters in your work area
  • Asking new staff to join the union
  • Helping other members with workplace issues.

For more information call the Branch Office on (02) 9351 2827 or email nteu@nteu.usyd.edu.au
