The Roll Out of the Australian Curriculum in Victoria: The State of Play - discount for union members

Posted 24 May 2012 by Andrew Nette (NTEU National Office)

One of the single most important current developments in Australian education is the design and implementation of the Australian (National) Curriculum.

The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is the independent authority responsible for the development of a national curriculum, a national assessment program and a national data collection and reporting program that supports 21st century learning for all Australian students.

The Australian Curriculum is being rolled out across Australia and the seminar provides teachers, parents, principals and teacher educators with the opportunity to learn about the rollout in Victoria.

Information about the seminar is available here.

The Australian Education Union has organised a reduced cost registration fee for union members of $10. This can’t be offered though the ACE online registration system, so members who would like to register should email Karrine Sleiman karrine.sleiman@austcolled.com.au
