Collective Bargaining Update

Posted 1 March 2012 by Rebecca Muratore (University of Melbourne)

This year the NTEU will be negotiating with Melbourne University a new Collective Agreement, which seeks to improve upon your wages and working conditions. The Branch Committee has started to develop a log of claims, but we know there a number of issues out there that members want addressed in the next agreement. We want to hear from you! Come along to a members meeting at your campus to hear from your branch committee and organizer how you can have your say about what issues are important to you, and help shape the log of claims for your collective agreement. Meetings will be held at:

Parkville: Thursday 22nd March 1:10pm - Medical-Wright Theatre (Medical Building Rm: C403)

Southbank: Tuesday 27th March 10:30am- Staff Lounge

Dookie: Tuesday 3rd April 12:30pm (Venue TBC)

Shepparton (Rural Health Academic Centre): Tuesday 3rd April 2:30pm-Tute Room 1

Creswick: Wednesday 4th April 11:30am- Stage 2 Seminar room.

(Meetings at other campuses will be confirmed shortly, and members will be notified)
