Annual Meeting of the University Community

Monday, February 13 2012. 12 – 1pm.
Flentje Lecture Theatre, Plaza Building North Tce.

NTEU members are encouraged to attend this meeting. It is an important opportunity to put questions to senior management and Council Members about where our university is going. It is also an important opportunity to hear their responses.

The University Act requires that this meeting be held every year, and specifies that all students, staff and graduates of the university be invited. Please note that the meeting starts at 12pm sharp.

All members are encouraged to send in suggestions about questions to our union office. We especially seek contributions from members at Roseworthy and Waite, as management are not providing facilities for those staff to ask questions live on the day.


Some example questions for the 2012 meeting:

  • In light of the recent appointment of an Executive Dean at the Roseworthy Campus, what is the selection process for such a senior position, and should this be conducted without advertising the position?
  • Have appropriate rooms been found and resourced to replace the Library Training rooms which were lost to the HubCentral development? If not, when will this be done?

We hope you will suggest many more.
