eYarn
The inaugural issue of the monthly electronic newsletter eYarn has now been published and distributed via email to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members.
eYarn is designed to ensure members are kept up-to-date the the work of the Indigenous Policy Committee (IPC) and the National Indigenous Unit, along with providing information on relevant issues and events around the country.
eYarn will not replace the twice yearly Yarn newsletter, but will allow for greater detailed coverage of issues, campaigns and matters of importance for Indigenous members.
Stories in the first edition of eYarn include:
- Indigenous Forum 2012;
- Branch survey on Indigenous employment clauses;
- BIITE agreement going to ballot and other bargaining updates;
- Restructures and reviews of Indigenous centres;
- TEUNZ Hui 2012 rundown;
- Proposed Division Indigenous Forums;
- NTEU Elections; &
- Current IPC representative contact details.
