Coordination Responsibility Payments - Level A & Level B academic staff
NTEU La Trobe Branch reached agreement during bargaining with university management to incorporate a coordination responsibility payment into the La Trobe University Collective Agreement 2009.
The rationale for the claim and the reason why the university agreed is set out in the guide. The payment came into effect from 18 December 2009 and can be backdated to that date. Claims can be made using this form on the La Trobe University intranet.
Those supervisors who are responsible for allocating coordination duties must ensure that staff who exceed their level of appointment are correctly paid. To assist members and supervisors with implementation of this payment the Branch is sending hard copies of the guide to Deans, Heads of Schools and Heads of Departments.

Level A staff who undertake unit coordination and Level B staff who undertake course coordination are eligible for a responsibility payment. This payment arose from a local claim made by the NTEU La Trobe Branch during bargaining.
