Strike - Members are Standing Together
Following the success of our protected industrial action ballot, members met to vote on taking industrial action. On Wednesday, February 27, Sydney University NTEU members passed a motion to strike for twenty-four hours on Thursday March 07.
This is the motion that was passed:

College of Law: Vote No on management's draft Agreement
College of Law management have sent a draft Enterprise Agreement to all staff for consideration. NTEU COL members oppose this Agreement and are encouraging all staff to Vote No in the upcoming ballot to be held January 11 to 14.
This Agreement reduces existing conditions at the College in a number of ways, including abolishing the automatic incremental increase staff receive on the anniversary of their employment for performance-based pay. More details are available at: www.nteu.org.au/nsw/col -
