Happy NAIDOC Week 2012!
In what has been a year of prominent trials and tribulations in the Indigenous Sovereignty movement, the theme of NAIDOC Week 2012 is poignantly "Spirit of the Tent Embassy: 40 years on".
The National Indigenous Unit encourages everyone to get involved with the many exciting NAIDOC Events happening across the country, and additionally encourages a strong NTEU presence at the NAIDOC marches. For more information about what is happening in your state or territory please go to the NAIDOC Events page and click on the drop down menu, or contact your local Land Council or Indigenous community organisation.
Wishing you all a happy and safe NAIDOC Week!
