UoN UNIVERSITY COUNCIL STAFF REPS: Nominations now open

Monday, 6 August 2012 is the deadline for nominations for two members of the academic staff and one member of the non-academic staff of the University for University Council.
It is vital for staff interests that NTEU members are represented and heard on the Council. Members may be interested in recent council issues reported on the NTEU Branch blog post and Newcastle Herald article re on potential cuts to staff and student voice on Council at
University Council is playing an increasingly direct role in University administration and at a time when the democratic voice for staff and students on University governance matters is under threat we are calling for members to nominate for these important positions.
