NTEU in the Media: Push to disclose pay for academic chiefs
Jeannie Rea is reported today in the Australian Financial Review commenting that vice-chancellors, as the leaders of publicly funded institutions, should fully disclose their remuneration packages.
She stated, "It should be no different to the requirement of government, corporations, and indeed the non-government sector, which in their annual reports reveal their remuneration and rationale for those payments" (p27).
