Bargaining
Priorities for the UWA Log of Claims
It's time for UWA staff to decide what are the priorities for the next round of collective bargaining.
The NTEU has distributed a survey to all staff on campus to determine the local focus for negotiations in 2012. If you did not receive this survey please let the NTEU Branch office know as we are still interested in receiving further feedback. As a follow up to the survey the NTEU will be holding a series of focus groups across the University to get further feedback from staff.
Once we have lodged our log of claims members will be called upon to get involved in our bargaining campaign. Campaigning means distributing leaflets and posters, attending mass meetings and most importantly, discussing the key issues with other staff. When we run a strong united campaign we send a clear message to management that we are serious about bargaining. Please encourage your colleagues to attend these meetings and to get involved with the Union and the campaign to improve our wages and conditions
