Posted 16 May 2012 by Katherine Gale (University of Adelaide)

Specifically for Indigenous NTEU Members at our branch, this meeting will be to discuss issues faced by Indigenous people working in Higher Education. It will be facilitated by Jenni Caruso. Views raised in the discussion will then be taken to the NTEU National Indigenous Forum by our branch representative, Aaron Thomas.

The meeting will be held at 12.30pm on Thursday, May 24.
In Physics Building, Room 121.

Please note – Non-Indigenous Members who work in close connection with Indigenous Staff and Students are invited to attend this meeting as observers.

To give an indication of the topics which will be covered, key Forum papers are here, except for the “I’m not a racist, but...” report which is available for download here.
