    The Australian government recently announced $2.8 billion dollar cuts to the university sector to fund primary and secondary education reforms.

    $48 million dollars will be stripped from Monash University. This is in addition to recent attacks by the university administration on democratic governance and the Chancellors desire to run Monash like a business. We as staff and students from Monash call on the university administration to prioritise quality education over $20 million dollar lawns and exorbitant wages for senior University executives.
